Parliamentary Symbolism II

The dark hooded figure is carved in stone on the back side of the British Columbia Parliament building in Victoria. As the sun sets, the shadow begins to slowly pass over the unnamed individuals face, from east to west, blanketing him in darkness. The architect of the building was Francis Mawson Rattenbury.
